In other words, she is unmanifested.

2 However, the later literary mentions show that this supreme energy of the universe has different facets.

3 Within these forms, the three most prominent forms of Shakti are collectively called Tridevi.

4 They are Lakshmi - the goddess of wealth, Durga (Parvati) - the goddess of valor and Saraswati - the goddess of knowledge.

5 According to the Hindu Puranas, the evolution of these incarnations took place along with the Trideva (Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar) respectively.

6 The Vedic and Tantrik forms of these goddesses are the foremost manifestations of fortune, power and knowledge.

7 The nine days and nights of Navaratri have three days each devoted to the worship of these three goddesses and their three other forms.

8 Hence all of these nine forms collectively are known as Navadurga (nine divine deities). Each of these deities represents Shanti, Shakti, Saiyam, Sanmaan, Saralta, Safalta, Samridhi, Sanskaar and Swaasthya.

9 To get more spiritual videos, subscribe to our Youtube Channel and also like our FB page.

Like us @ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ArthaChannel/
Check us out on Google Plus - https://goo.gl/6qG2sv
Follow us on Twitter - https://twitter.com/ArthaChannel
Follow us on Instagram -https://www.instagram.com/arthachannel/
Follow us on Pinterest - https://in.pinterest.com/channelartha/
Follow us on Tumblr - https://www.tumblr.com/blog/arthachannel
